Just saw a BIKE magazine on the rack and the cover says, in big letters, "The Perfect Street Bike". They are talking about the Versys! The article compares it to a variety of street and sport bikes for acceleration, handling, etc.

A quick  search on the bike indicates BIKE is not the only mag that believes the Versys is a great bike.
