About |FS| The Fellowship

In early March 2001, a group of mature, team-oriented enthusiasts sought to form a unique type of gaming community. A community based upon Respect, Teamwork and Friendship which quickly became known as The Fellowship, designated by its call-sign |FS|. Comprised of several leading Tribes1, Unreal, Quake and Asherons Call teams and strategists, the bond that ties |FS| together is each members seasoned commitment to contributing for the greater good, rather than personal satisfaction.

Individual statistics mean nothing within the |FS| environment. |FS| team members and recruits will be judged on their ability to harness group learning, strategy and play while recognizing that new ideas and upgraded team play can come from anywhere. It is only the strategic implementation of these tactics that make the gaming environment successful and fun for everyone.

Team Philosophy

The Fellowship is a tribe dedicated to mature team-play with an emphasis on having fun. We believe that the magic of multiplayer gaming lies in playing as a coherent unit. We express this belief in our creed:

Brotherhood: We learn, change and improve as a team. Be loyal to your teammates. Share what you know. When one of us improves, we all improve.

Levity: We enjoy playing! It’s a game. Have fun.

Respect: We treat each other with respect. Be respectful to your teammates, your leaders and members of other teams during matches and scrimmages. Treating others with respect is a sign of maturity and a requirement for membership.

Honor: We conduct ourselves with integrity. To behave with honor is to be honest and true.

Spotsmanship: We behave in a way that will elicit respect from opposing teams, irregardless of winning or losing, or of their behavior.

Most recently we played Section 8 and are now currently playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

We have a server for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and a Ventrilo server for it so check out those boards in this forum for information.
